Kaitlyn Strong started with LA Fitness on October 26, 2012 after they acquired Urban Active, where she was working as a Customer Service Manager. Kaitlyn was brought on at the Graceland location as an Operations Manager. From there, she was transferred quickly after the acquisition to the busiest club in the Columbus area, Grandview Yard. As an operations manager our duties involve staffing the operations, janitorial and kids club staff. Operations Managers handle all customer service, maintenance and building issues along with hitting many gross goals. On January 1, 2013 Kaitlyn was promoted to an area manager. As an Area Manager with LA Fitness you are still required to properly run your club as an Operations Manager along with extra duties on a daily basis. Area Managers are specialized in one of three fields that they rotate every three months. She is currently over facilities which requires her to help 24 other operations managers with any facility issues they have as well as deal directly with vendors to set them up to work in our clubs. In the past she has also been over training & development and revenue, which was recently removed as an Area Manager duty. The third is being over member services which is helping listen in on customer service line and helping operations managers with member issues to find the best solutions. Working in the customer service industry, the days are never the same which means we are constantly adapting to our different situations, and Kaitlyn has been in the health and fitness industry now for 7 years!
